Dina has been immersed in the world of learning and development for more than 20 years. Since 2015, she’s been leading regional and global Sales Enablement teams at data and software companies, supporting field sales onboarding, ongoing training and certification, and a sales enablement tech stack. Prior to that, she spent over a decade in academia, teaching students and preparing future faculty at Loyola University Chicago where she was both a tenured history professor and the head of teaching effectiveness programs in the Graduate School. Dina currently works at Amazon Web Services where she leads global enablement for a new sales division inside the Premium Support organization.

Activating the field at scale
At AWS, we face a challenge of scale: how does one line of business activate thousands of field sellers on an offering with low incentives? As field enablement leaders, we all face this kind of challenge whether you are at a large or small organization. In this presentation, I’ll show you why and how we developed Alley-oop, a field activation program at scale using internal prospecting techniques, personalized data aggregation, and cross-organizational sponsors. I’ll share our initial results and tips on how to create something similar at your organization.
