Mike develops customized learning programs focused on product knowledge, selling skills and technology. He is ultimately responsible for the oversight and performance of each sales channel’s new hire training program which includes Global Institutional, US Wealth, Nuveen Retirement Investing and Global Wealth. He also has a supervisory role with new and existing product training and an integral committee member for the Nuveen Global Sales meeting and US Wealth mid-year meeting.
Prior to joining Nuveen in 2005, Mike received a Fulbright teaching assistantship and moved to Linz, Austria. This included 2 years of world travel and international teaching. This was preceded by 2 years in Washington, DC, as an Investment Management paralegal at the nationally known law firm, Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP. Mike is currently an Adjunct Professor at DePaul University in their Marketing Department, starting in 2009 teaching courses on effective business communication. Mike graduated with a B.B.A. from The George Washington University and an M.B.A. from DePaul University.
