Ex-VP of Sales Enablement
Phil Putnam is an educator, executive leader, and devoutly committed eater of Cheez-Its. In his past role as Ex-VP of Sales Enablement at Notified, his days were spent leveraging his caretaker nature and lifelong obsession with communication to create, lead and optimize the skill base and employee experience of Notified’s global Sales team. Having come into Sales Enablement after nearly 20 years in customer-facing post-sale roles (shout out to all Customer Success people out there!) at organizations including Apple, Adobe and Sprinklr, his approach to sales skills and education is 1000% influenced by the realities of what happens after the signature, and taking ownership of how the sales experience sets a customer up for long-term success and ongoing renewal. When he’s not lost down a PowerPoint formatting and animations rabbit hole, which he absolutely loves to be, he can most likely be found at home in New York City with his partner, watching shameless amounts of TV and annoying his dog with an overwhelming amount of cuddles.

What do you want? Motivating performance in ways people actually care about
People are the heart of every organization’s productivity and profit. After all, people are every company’s most expensive, most valuable, and most vulnerable asset. Given the heightened importance of employee experience when it comes to retention and performance in the post-COVID world, it’s never been more vital to establish your people’s core motivations for working, and for their lives beyond work, as the foundation of their performance and satisfaction. Phil Putnam, VP of Sales Enablement at Notified, spent 2021 obsessing about how most companies miss the mark on motivation and then spent 2022 creating and refining his method for placing what your team members want most for their lives at the dead center of how your organization drives and rewards results. You’ll walk away from this keynote inspired and action-ready on key topics including: - How to not fight the tide of human nature - What makes most organizations bad at this - How to orchestrate core motivators for each employee’s satisfaction - How to use those motivators as a springboard for performance and retention - How to scale this individual motivation method across an organization
