Liz Broekema is the APAC Sales Enablement Program Manager for Fortinet since 2019. Previously in a Sales Role for 14 years till a window of opportunity landed. She describes the transition as the fulfillment of her long thirst to be in training & development. Never shied away to raise her hand in her past jobs to do ad hoc training and with this pivot in her career, it’s the great marriage of sales skills and enablement.    Liz has worked in various IT Industries in APAC. From selling hardware, CRM, Virtualization, ERM solutions, and the last 3 years in Cybersecurity, the latter of which she is mostly fond of.  She strongly believes in knowing what’s happening on the field, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and understanding facts, and data, before starting any initiative. Liz also exercises her creative side and is always on the hunt for ideas to capture the audience while delivering results. A strong believer that everyone, herself included, should invest in continuous learning, continuously evolve, and be empowered always.

Roundtable discussions

Table 1 will focus on utilising cross-functional collaboration when you are in a team of 1. Table 2 focuses on getting creative with your enablement program and implementing gamification and edutainment into your strategy. Table 3 focuses on coaching within your function.
