Johnny McDonald serves as Vice President, Sales Enablement, The Americas, for RGA. Ranked as a Fortune 500 public company, RGA has $3.4 Trillion of life reinsurance in force globally with $84B in assets and $16.3B in revenue for 2022. The Sales Enablement team manages the Account Planning, regional CRM, coaching, training and sales support strategy for the BD teams spread across the region. Prior to RGA, Johnny served as VP, social media Sales and Strategy for Dentsu, leading a multi-country team driving new business for clients from Starbucks to Disney. Johnny also served as Vice President, Business Development and Marketing at Ticketmaster, leading a North American sales, marketing, and account management team while part of IAC/InterActiveCorp (NASDAQ: IACI). Johnny has founded many businesses throughout his career including Violet Vintages, a passion project named after his daughter.

Merging sales enablement with account management
Why limit Sales Enablement to just new logo clients? Why only focus on the 20-30% of “new” sales revenue? Sales Enablement can (and should) support the entire sales cycle, including growth within existing accounts.
