Beacon Professional Selling-Inside Sales Certification Program
Beacon Building Products is the largest publicly traded distributor of roofing, waterproofing and related exterior products in the United States and Canada. We have supported contractors who rely on us to help them save time and build more for nearly 100 years. Brad Thurman- Director of Sales Enablement will walk you through the journey of how this 8-month program went from a concept in April of 2024 to kicking off the pilot in February of 2025. The program is developed for Beaconā€™s Inside Sales reps with topics ranging from re-setting the expectations of their role, product knowledge/application, sales training and positioning our value propositions. This is a unique project since the entire program has been built with just 1dedicated full time instructional designer. The other 20+ people on the core team have other duties they are responsible for daily. This journey is far from complete as we are in the middle of the pilot and content is still being built for the later modules. We are truly building the plane while we are flying.
