Jarod Greene believes that luck is what happens when preparation meets opportunity—a mindset that has shaped his career from the start. He began as a contact center representative at Gartner, where his drive to learn and connect people to meaningful insight led him from Research Associate to Research Director. Along the way, he discovered his passion for helping others solve complex problems by translating deep subject matter into clear, contextual, and actionable guidance.
In 2014, Jarod joined Cherwell Software to lead global Product Marketing, driving messaging, positioning, analyst relations, launches, and sales enablement during a high-growth phase that included a $50 million investment from KKR. He later joined Apptio in 2018 to lead global Product Marketing and portfolio strategy, contributing to product innovation, revenue growth, and the company’s $1.94 billion acquisition by Vista Equity Partners.
Above all, Jarod is most proud to be Maya’s husband and the father of Corinne and Dominique. He strives to give, love, and serve without expectation of return—bringing that same commitment and authenticity to both his family and his work.
