Beyond the training function: How enablement earns a seat at the table
For most of its history, sales enablement has been treated as a support function: build the materials, run the sessions, report the completion rates. This panel brings together practitioners who've pushed past that ceiling and taken on genuine strategic ownership, whether that means owning a business vertical like its own region, sitting in on product roadmap conversations, or making direct recommendations to a VP rather than waiting to be asked. The conversation covers what it actually looks like day to day to move from executing someone else's strategy to shaping it: how to build credibility with marketing and product as a peer rather than a downstream customer, what changes about your job once you're accountable for outcomes beyond just training completion, and the war stories, including the mistakes, that came with making that shift. Practical and grounded rather than aspirational, this session is for enablement leaders who want a clear next step from running programs to running influence.
