Jarod believes that luck is what happens when preparation meets opportunity. He began his career as a contact center representative at Gartner, immersing himself in research, webinars, and customer engagement before advancing into research services and analyst roles. Over the years, he progressed from Research Associate to Research Director, building a reputation for helping people solve problems by connecting them to the right information and context.
In 2014, Jarod joined Cherwell Software to lead global Product Marketing, overseeing messaging, positioning, analyst relations, thought leadership, product launches, and sales enablement. His leadership helped accelerate growth, improve competitive positioning, and contributed to a $50 million investment from KKR.
He later joined Apptio in 2018 to lead global Product Marketing and portfolio strategy, driving demand, conversion, renewals, and product launches. His contributions supported the company’s continued growth and acquisition by Vista Equity Partners for $1.94 billion.
Above all, Jarod is most proud to be Maya’s husband and the father of Corinne and Dominique, guided by a commitment to give, love, and serve without expectation of return.
