An early adopter and enthusiastic promoter of Sales Enablement, Richard's journey in this transformative field has been marked by a passion for empowering sales teams and driving organizational success. He has been a frequent speaker on topics around Sales Enablement and believes in the promulgation of Sales Enablement as a strategic advisor to boards and C-suites. Since 2021, Richard has been VP, Sales Enablement and Strategy at Swiss Re, where he has overseen pivotal initiatives related to sales effectiveness, GTM strategy, customer success, and product marketing. He began his career with roles in global sales and marketing, followed by a tenure at Ernst & Young delivering comprehensive solutions to major private equity clients. Immediately prior to joining Swiss Re, Richard made significant contributions in sales strategy at Charter Communications. He has also been an adjunct professor of communications, teaching public and persuasive speaking to undergraduates. Outside of work, Richard spends time with his wife and 3 very active daughters, seeks out live music wherever he can, and continually hones his culinary skills. He resides in Connecticut.
