Enable Like a Rock Star: Developing Enablement as the Strategic Arm of the Business
Enablement has outgrown its “support function” era. Today’s most effective enablement teams don’t just respond to requests, they shape strategy, influence decisions, and drive measurable outcomes. In the strongest organizations, enablement isn’t working backstage, it’s helping write the setlist and set the tempo for how the business performs. This keynote explores how enablement leaders can intentionally develop their function to be a strategic arm of the business. When enablement helps determine what gets amplified, what gets practiced, and what makes it to the main stage, teams execute with greater clarity, confidence, and consistency. In this session, you’ll learn how to: - Move enablement from a reactive, on-demand function to a proactive strategic partner - Align enablement priorities with revenue, go-to-market motions, and organizational goals - Build credibility and influence with executive stakeholders to earn a true seat at the table - Design scalable enablement programs that keep teams in sync without slowing momentum - Measure and communicate enablement impact in ways that resonate with leadership Through practical frameworks and real-world examples, this session challenges enablement leaders to stop operating behind the scenes and start shaping how the business shows up. Because when enablement sets the rhythm and direction, the entire organization performs like a well-rehearsed headliner—not a one-hit wonder.
