Enablement's hardest skill: Leading change that actually sticks
New tools get purchased. New processes get documented. New messaging gets rolled out. And six months later, half the team is still doing things the old way. Change management is often treated as a communication problem, when in reality it is a behavior problem, and enablement is uniquely positioned to solve it because behavior change is the job.
This session digs into what separates change initiatives that take hold from the ones that quietly die in a shared drive. It covers how to diagnose the real reasons reps or teams resist a new process, how to sequence a rollout so adoption builds instead of stalls, and how to reinforce new behaviors long after the kickoff meeting is a memory. Rather than treating change management as a one time event tied to a launch, the session frames it as an ongoing discipline that enablement should own and measure like any other program.
Leave with a framework for diagnosing why a change initiative is stalling, whether it is a skill gap, a belief gap, or a system gap.
